And now:

Five stairs done, and this weekend was spent building the last two frames.  The sixth is identical to these first five frames but the hill has run out of rise so the seventh is a double-length doozy, more of a short sidewalk than a stair.    We’re feeling good about the stairs and they look much better than the original slate-in-concrete nonsense (the middle stair is correctly aligned – the wood of the frame had a lopped edge and the shadow looks like a gap).  We’re ready for this project to be done, though.  These things are heavy.
